Kirsten and Geoffrey met in high school. The first thing that brought them together was the letter L. Both their last names began with that letter, so naturally, their lockers were close to one another=Love. The day began at the Marriott in Oxnard. The garter was something borrowed, with pennies from the year of each wedding it was used in. They were searching for a penny that morning from 2013. Surrounded by Love
Surrounded by Love. Sometimes, when I’m shooting, I get this feeling that I am doing exactly what I should be doing. It kind of startles me in a good way! Always love when nature affirms this to me, if there was any doubt. Here are some images from a recent wedding where I felt just that: Surrounded by love.
Where I’m from.
So many things fly by me fast. In one day, I could be photographing a plane, an actress, a high school senior. Sunday was a day for me to go to Butterfly Beach, for an engagement session. It’s across from the Four Seasons Biltmore, in Montecito. Super cute couple. Nice conditions, after the wind died down. Afterwards, I stopped and took a walk to one of my favorite spots there. I photographed my first wedding, ever, at All Saints by the Sea church, so finding the path was easy. Here is a photo that I took along the way to the beach. Sometimes the journey is as pretty as the destination.
